Jonathon E. Slightam is a postdoctoral appointee at Sandia National Laboratories working on model-based autonomy and autonomous dynamic manipulation. Core research interests include soft robotics, model-based control, dynamic manipulation, medical and mobile robot applications, and autonomy which are all aimed at advancing mobile robot hardware and software to achieve sophisticated autonomous interactions with the real world.
